Most
youths are caught up in dilemma
Few survive the onslaught that is this pressure
That renders many unable to take a cause
Sad some may waste away as a result
What with abetting on the increase
The youthful generation has a task at hand
Each time they are told they are the leaders of tomorrow
Yet they never see it in that angle
Especially when their desires are not forthcoming
Some actions and ways of living need condemnation
Sadly it is an issue that needs to be reprimanded
Starting from the parents down to the society
The acts of some youths are too wild to be tolerated
Some engage in promiscuous sexual behavior with abandon
When under the influence of drugs they procure cheaply
And since ale is sold at a throw away price, why not?
It’s a habit for many to leave in illusions in life
Few are able to concentrate on a task for long
All they want is to enjoy living a risky life
Changing bed mates as if they are clothes
Forgetting that contraceptives are not for experiments
And they do not ascertain high chances of safety
Smoking and reckless drinking makes one age fast
Other than the fact that they destroy vital organs
But this they take as a random advice
All is however not lost among the generation of the youth
They are in control and just want a life on the fast lane
Some youths are making great strides in what they do
They efforts are aimed in making the world a better place
Many are in universities and some inventing and innovating
In them we see more doctors, engineers, artists and teachers
But most youths don’t want a conservative an docile life
Social networking has exposed them to have new insights
They are more artistic and creative in equal measure
Some make their first millions at a very young age
More youths know that religion plays a big role in life
Hence not possible it is to condemn the whole youthful group
A caveat though, each one is in a sense has a predetermined fate
One needs to chart a way forward that is well rewarding
If you choose to live a wretched life it will follow you
If you make merry and decide that life will be it then it will be
Reason why you have to make hay while the sun shoine
Your youthful live will be gone sooner than you know it
