Endless Adoration

You suffered during those months
Again toiled when we were hapless
The desire to see us succeed you had
The times when you never left us
You felt it burning deep inside
Cry you have done it for us
Your comfort and peace is our satisfaction
Nothing elates you like our progress
Times when we follow your sage
And obey your word as if terminal
Hate it when people try hurting you
Battles you fought exceed soldiers
The luxury you turned down to make us
Nothing can be paid for your patience
When toddlers you inculcated discipline
Giving the impression of an aggressor
Helped it has to give us a stance
And the status of joy we receive
Protected us from enemies from within
Our destitution caused you misery
Our victory made you a winner
At the backstage you gave us cue
Ensuring we acted to your satisfaction
That we will not let you down
It will be a promise to the core
But we shall have to let go
And chart the way forward
Just like you did it for us
I would have flattered you more
That I tried to control it evident
Admit I have that you are a winner
Wish you could be there
Thank you mama for all that you did
