A subtle intrigue

Very difficult to fathom
When they are together
What goes on?
In their instincts
That point in time
Is it insidious?
Likely
However there is need
To avoid rush decisions

Look at their faces
What goes on?
Are their eyes darting
Or having questions
That we wait is a must
They may be agents
Spies to keep watch
That also a matter
I conclude of conjecture

Now to be realistic
They may be angels
Treat them right
No suspicion
Only optimism
They will be of aid

But I am afraid
Usually no easy
To be at ease
Lest confidence is gained
Sure it is right
To have a thought
Also hidden like theirs

Do we demystify?
Our fears
Let them know
To avoid conflict
It is not good
To live a lie
But who shall stand
Face it
This cryptic veil
